Is Your Paint Hard or Soft?
I've been reading a lot lately about paint hardness or softness. Everyone wants to know if their make, model, year car is soft vs hard without having to test the paint. Sort of like, looking up your oil filter number in the auto parts store. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. Paint needs to be tested in a consistent fashion, then a determination made. HOWEVER, it doesn't really matter if it's hard or soft. Once you test and find out, then move on with your appropriate steps. This is not meant to be a controversy or spark a fight. Just a practical approach IF IF your goal is to restore the paint and move on with your day. More discussion to come... :)
